Construction Contracts
Construction contracts are not to be entered into lightly and need to be able to stand up both in court and in arbitration. While laws vary from state to state, every state has strict laws that allow the penalization of contractors who use / enter into agreements that do not comply with their states laws. While contracts do not have any length requirements, it is a good idea to hire a professional to draw them up for you. Together you can decide what you cover, and what you don’t and rest knowing you are protected in case a job goes awry. A well-written contract that stands up in court is well worth the investment.
